OHS General Induction for Construction Work

Green Card / White Card 

To work on a building site in New South Wales it is a requirement that everyone holds a current OHS General Induction Certificate or “Green/White Card” as it is commonly known in the industry. Currently the certificate is valid for use on all construction sites in NSW and is also recognised as proof of general health and safety induction training for construction work in Queensland and Victoria.

Pre-Requisites: 100 Points of ID – See Pre-Course Information
 
Who should do this course: People working or wanting to work in the construction industry.
 
Course Content:
  • Emergencies and injury management
  • OH&S Responsibilities at the workplace
  • Identify, assess and control hazards
  • Overview of industry legislation
Assessment: At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
 
Outcome: On successful completion, participants receive a WorkCover NSW Statement of OHS Induction Training for “OHS General Induction for Construction Work”. This certificate is valid for 30 days.  The actual Card is issued and posted by WorkCover NSW usually within 30 days.
