This course has been developed by WorkCover NSW to meet the training requirements for OHS committees and OHS representatives, as stated in the OHS Regulation 2001. This training course supersedes the WorkCover NSW OHS workplace committee training course, which was last reprinted in 1996.
 
Duration: 4 days - 6hrs each day
 
Pre-Requisites: 100 Points of ID. See Pre-Course Information

  • Persons involved in other agreed arrangements

  • Workplace health and safety 
  • The role of OHS consultation in the workplace 
  • Effective OHS consultation in the workplace 
  • Systematic management of health and safety 
  • Action learning exercise 
  • Continuous improvement of OHS systems 
  • Summary and conclusion

Assessment: Assessment is conducted throughout the training program

Outcome: On successful completion, participants receive a WorkCover NSW Certificate in OHS Consultation.
