Also known as Senior First Aid
This one day first aid course is the equivalent of a Senior First Aid qualification and is nationally recognised. It enables participants to achieve the same qualification as a two day course, but minimises the amount of time they need to spend in the classroom. In order to do so, you are required to complete a workbook prior to your course. This will involve some pre-course reading and the completion of theory revision questions. Participants should allow approximately 8 hours to complete this pre-reading.
Duration: 8hrs in classroom. With approx. 8 hours of pre-reading prior to the course.
Pre-Requisites: There is no pre-requisite for this course.

| Assessment: During the day of the course you are required to successfully complete a theory assessment and various practical assessments including CPR, bandaging. |
Outcome: On successfully completing the First Aid training course, candidates will receive the following awards:

First Aid certificate
- Resuscitation certificate
- Statement of Attainment that includes the following unit of competence (HLTFA301B) from the Health Training Package
