Apply First Aid Course - Sydney

TCP's First Aid courses have been developed to meet the needs of individuals in the workplace, at home and at leisure activities. We offer a range of flexible training delivery solutions including our 1-day VETAB nationally approved Apply First Aid course, as well as Re-Certification and CPR for First Aider’s looking to renew their certificates.
Our one day, NSW VETAB accredited First Aid course enables participants to achieve the same qualification as in a two day course, but minimises the amount of time you need to spend in the classroom. 

 All TCP Training Courses are delivered by fully accredited trainers with industry-based knowledge and skills. We are committed to providing the highest standards of training in our fully equipped training facilities, in an atmosphere that enables participants to achieve the best possible outcome.

Pre-Requisites:   Participants must collect a First Aid manual and workbook from one of our centres. All questions and assessments in the workbook are to be completed prior to attending First Aid training

Course Content: 

 
  • Cardio Pulmonary Rescusitation 
  • Fractures and dislocations
  • Burns and scalds
  • Head, chest and spinal injuries
  • Fainting and unconsciousness
  • Bandaging techniques
  • Severed limbs
  • Poisoning, bites, stings and much more! 
     
Assessment:   Assessment is both practical and theory
     
Outcome:   On successful completion of this nationally recognised qualification, participants receive a Statement of Attainment in “Apply First Aid HLTFA301B” incorporating HLTCPR201A Perform CPR and HLTFA201A Provide Basic Emergency Life Support. Certificates are issued same day!
     

What to Bring:

 
  • Pen
  • 1 form of Photo ID (i.e. Passport, Drivers licence, Photo ID card, Student card)
  • Wear comfortable clothing 

Please note: As of 13th December, 2008 Proof of Age cards are no longer valid forms of photographic identification.
