Upon completion of the theory component of the course, participants can elect to complete a log book under suitable supervision in their workplace to attain a higher qualification (if required by their employer).

The statutory requirements of working in confined spaces

The requirements of AS/NZ 2865-2001

Hazard identification, risk assessment and control in confined spaces

Required documentation, equipment and systems for confined space entry

Duties and roles of persons working within confined spaces

Requirements for emergency response and rescue plans when working in a confined space.
Assessment: At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
Outcome: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a certificate as partial completion of BCCCM2009B (Work in confined spaces).
