Yellow Card
This one day course provides training for staff who are required to set up and work with traffic control plans issued by site supervisors and/or managers.
Note: This course does not qualify participants to design, select or modify traffic control plans or control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat.

| Pre-Requisites: |

Participants must
- Have adequate literacy skills
AND
- Hold a valid General Induction for Construction Work (White) Card or certificate.

Course Content: |
|
- Identify safety implications of traffic control at road works
- Setup/close down traffic control devices
- Operate a Two-Way Radio correctly
- Check, store and clean equipment upon completion
|

Assessment is undertaken throughout the course |

| Outcome: |
|
On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Completion in "Apply Traffic Control Plans". An RTA Apply Traffic Plans (Yellow) card will also be issued. |

Traffic Controller's cards may be collected from our Parramatta or Sydney City offices. Students will be notified by phone when the cards are received from the RTA.
Cards must be collected within 3 months from the date of training. Any cards not collected within this period will be returned to the RTA and reissuance will be at the participants cost.
Alternatively the cards may be posted to your residential address at a charge of $15.00 (registered post, person to person) which is payable on the day of training. |
