LF Class - Forklift Licence Course for Experienced
Drivers
This 2-day course is for individuals with previous
forklift driving experience (Australia or overseas),
but do not hold an LF Class Forklift Licence. The course
is
conducted in our
Parramatta Training
Centre, walking distance from Parramatta or
Harris Park City Rail Stations.
The course will cover:
- Duty of Care
- Practical forklift operation
- Practical forklift driving
- OH&S Legislation in NSW
- Site risk assessment
- Australian Standards
- Forklift awareness
- Lifting pallets
- Lifting up to 650kg
- Stacking racks
- Obstacle course
- Pre-starting safety checks
The course concentrates on the theory required to
pass the written assessment taking into account
prior driving experience.
Course Duration
The course duration is 1½-days of training and ½
a day for assessment. Price includes training, assessment and all course material.
On successful completion of assessment a certificate
will be issued. A $65 licence fee is payable to
Australia Post for the actual licence card, which is
nationally recognised.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and
have a thorough understanding of both the written
and spoken English Language.

which contains essential information on how to get
to the training centre and what to bring with you.
You will also need to download the
"Forklift
Manual" and learn the answers to the 97
