MARCSTA stands for Mining and
Resource Contractors Safety Training Association.
The MARCSTA General Safety Induction program is
designed for workers engaged in all surface
operations of mines and other industrial workplaces
as a basic introduction to safe working practices
within the mining, resources and associated industry
sectors.
This 1 day course is based on units of competence from the nationally endorsed Metalliferous Training Package MNMG202A Work Safely
All of our course instructors are MARCSTA
accredited.
The course covers information on how to:
• Access and Apply Site Safety Procedures;
• Apply Personal Safety Measures;
• Identify and Report Incidents/Hazards;
• Apply Emergency Procedures According to
site requirements; and
• Maintain Personal Well-BeingCourse Duration:
8 Hours
ID Requirements:
1 form of Photo ID + 1 form of secondary ID is required to
be shown on the day of course. Suitable Photo ID includes:
- Passport
- Drivers Licence
- Proof of Age Card
Suitable secondary ID includes:
- ATM (EFTPOS) or Credit Card
- Valid Medicare Card
- Birth Certificate
- Australian Defence Force discharge papers up to 2
years old
- Australian Defence Force discharge papers up to 2
years old
- Electoral Card or evidence of electoral enrolment up
to 2 years old
- Education Certificate of enrolment up to 2 years old
- Passbook account statement up to 1 year old
- Current Australian government entitlement card eg.
Centrelink Card,
- Health Concession Card
