This two day course provides training for staff who are required to select and make minor modifications to existing Traffic Control Plans (TCP) to suit work locations.

Note: This course is the pre-requisite for Design and Inspect Traffic Control Plans.

This course covers both theory and practical aspects of Traffic Control Plans, including:

• Plan and prepare a Traffic Management Plan (TMP)
• Set out a traffic guidance scheme
• Monitor a traffic guidance scheme
• Close down a traffic guidance scheme

This course is suitable for:

• Works Supervisors
• Team Leaders

Course Duration
2 days held on consecutive days.

Course Prerequisite
Students must hold or have previously held a:

• Traffic Controller (Blue Card) for a period of 12 months or
• Apply Traffic Control Plans Card (Yellow Card) for a period of 12 months or
• Have equivalent industry experience (as determined by the trainer)
• 100 points of ID (see pre-course information)

On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Completion in “Select/Modify Traffic Control Plans” otherwise known as a Red Card.

ID Requirements
WorkCover NSW has strict ID requirements that must be shown to attend the Traffic Control course. Documents must be original and presented in person by the applicant.

Proof of Identity (POI) Criteria
1 x Full POI + 1 x Primary POI
or
1 x Full POI + 2 x Secondary POI from different sources
or
1 x Primary POI + 2 x Secondary POI from different sources

If you have insufficient ID on the day you will not be admitted and a fee of 50% of the course fee will apply to rebook for another day.
