Refund Policy

Below are the refund policies for the following categories or courses:

General Refund Policy

  • No postage fees will be refunded.
  • If a class is cancelled by TCP at any time, participants have the option of rescheduling to another date or receive a full refund of the course fee paid. No further monies will be paid for any other expenses the participant has or may incur.
  • No refunds will be provided for students who are unable to attend their course due to not completing their pre-course information, including your Unique Student Identifier number before the course commences.
  • If you cancel your course the cost of the course material provided to you by TCP will be deducted from your refund.
  • Refunds must be applied for in writing by the student so we can verify their identity and keep a record of the request.
  • If your refund is approved, monies will be returned to you by the means in which it was paid.
  • If the course fee was paid by a third party, the third party will be refunded the course fee.
  • No refund or exchange will be given for any goods purchased from TCP unless they are proven to be faulty.

Classroom refund policy - 1-2 days

  • You must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and ID verification as per the course requirements.
  • If you forget your ID, you will not be accepted into the course and you will need to rebook for the training.
  • Certificates cannot be issued until all course paperwork requirements have been completed.
  • Certificates cannot be issued until all AVETMISS and USI information has been confirmed (where required).
  • All courses close for entry 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.
  • All courses must be completed within 3 months of the original booking date.
  • If a student is not successful in completing all assessments satisfactorily, they will need to rebook the course at the full course fee.

Cancellation:

  • More than 48hr before the course start time = $20 cancellation fee
  • Less than 48hr before the course start time = No Refund
  • No Attendance = No Refund

Rescheduling:

  • More than 48hr before the course start time = $10 reschedule fee
  • Less than 48hr before the course start time = 50% course fee
  • No Attendance = full course fee required

Classroom refund policy - 3+ days

  • You must arrive on time for the course to commence. Students who arrive 15 minutes after start time will not be accepted into the class.
  • All students must bring ID with them for verification of identity.
  • Certificates cannot be issued until all related assessment activities have been satisfactorily completed.
  • Certificates cannot be issued until all AVETMISS and USI information has been confirmed (where required).
  • If a student is not successful in completing all assessments satisfactorily after their second attempt, additional attempts are permitted once a re-assessment fee is paid. See each specific course description for this rate.

  • Less than 5 days before the course start date = 50% of course fee
  • Less than 48hrs before the course start date = no refund

  • More than 5 days before the course start date = $20 admin fee
  • Less than 5 days before the course start date = 50% of course fee
  • Less than 48hrs before the course start date = no transfer accepted

Online & Correspondence Courses Refund Policy

  • Once an enrolment has been received for an online or correspondence course, no refund, transfer or cancellation is available.

Forklift Training Refund Policy

Reschedule:

  • All courses must be completed within 3 months of the original booking date.

Re-training or re-assessment:

  • If you require more training, the fee is $100 per day
  • If you need to re-book an assessment, the fee is $190
  • Students who had a license which is expired and just want to refresh their skills before an assessment are eligible to pay the above fees for training and assessment

Traffic Training Course Refund Policy

  • All student are subject to the above terms & condition of TCP, as well as the training provider Affirm Training.
  • All requested for refunds must be made in writing to TCP training, outlining the reasons for reimbursement.
  • All requests for a cancellation must be made in writing to TCP training more thatn 72 business hours before the course start time.
  • No refunds are offered to students who do not attend their booked session.
  • Doors close 10 minutes after scheduled start time. Candidates will not be accepted into the program if arriving late.
  • Once a course has commenced, fees are non-refundable unless the client states exceptional circumstances and can provide a medical certificate or show extreme personal hardship. In this case, fees may be refunded but would be on a case by case basis, minus a $50 administrative fee.
  • Any rescheduled training sessions within 48 hours of the course incurs a 50% booking charge.
  • For any assessment sessions, students will be turned away if they hold an expired Statement of Completion (SOC), re-booking fees will apply
  • If a training session is cancelled by the provider, students will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
  • Should a student attend an assessment and are deemed  "not yet competent", they will need to reschedule another assessment day at full cost of $130.
