First Aid Courses in Sydney
Statistics show that up to 150,000 lives could be saved each year if there were more people who had completed a First Aid course. Nobody wants to be in a position where they are required to administer First Aid; but sometimes, these situations arise and having the relevant skills can be invaluable.
You may need to do a First Aid course for work purposes, want to learn First Aid techniques for your family, or maybe you just want to develop a new and useful skill. Whatever the reason, a First Aid course could make all the difference when it comes to saving someone's life!
The CPR, First Aid and Childcare First Aid courses apply to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

- Why does my Certificate need to be renewed every three years?
It is a requirement in most states and territories that a workplace first aider must renew their first aid certificate at least every three years to ensure that first aid skills are current.
- Do I have to do a Resuscitation Course every year?
You are not legally required to complete a resuscitation course each year. It is recommended, however, by the Australian Resuscitation Council. By taking a course every year, you will be able to demonstrate your resuscitation skills on a regular basis. Depending on which industry you work in, you may be required to take an annual CPR refresher course in order to comply with industry regulations or licensing requirements. TCP recommends that you do a refresher course every year so that you can keep up with any new techniques that are introduced and to ensure that you can effectively perform resuscitation.
- I completed a First Aid Certificate a few years ago, do I have to do the whole Course again?
Yes, first aid knowledge and skills are frequently changed so you need to complete a new course to ensure you are up to date with any changes.
- I didn't finish the online section before the training, what do I do?
If you completed the practical section less than three (3) months ago, you can simply log back onto your account by clicking “Course Login” at the top right hand corner of our website. If you forgot your login details, you can reset them or contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Otherwise, if it has been longer than three (3) months, the course is no longer valid and you cannot receive your certification.
