Statistics show that between 1 January 2017 and 27 September 2017 there have been 23 fatalities as a result of accidents in the workplace in Australia. The White Card course in VIC is designed to raise awareness of best practices to eliminate risks that cause injuries and fatalities in the work place. To work in the Construction Industry, you need to complete a White Card course.
This course requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.
This White Card course covers the basic OHS knowledge required prior to commencing work tasks within any of the sectors of the construction industry.

TCP Training is not registered with CRICOS, as such we are unable to conduct training and assessment for those with study restrictions on their visa. This includes but is not limited to the International Student Visa (subclass 500), you can check the entitlements of your visa here.
This White Card course combines plain English, videos, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. If you believe you will need assistance due to your Language, Literacy or Numeracy skills, please contact our office on 02 9232 1010 to discuss your training needs.
