Express First Aid Course FAQs

What’s the difference between First Aid and Express First Aid?

Express First Aid is an assessment-only course with no training provided by the teacher so is faster to complete. This is only suitable for individuals with First Aid experience.

Do I still get a full qualification?

Yes, you do! You are completing the nationally recognised, otherwise known as accredited course, just without the training before the assessment.

What if I’m unsure which course is best for me?

If you are unsure which First Aid course to complete, we would recommend the full First Aid training and assessment, as it give you the best chance to pass if you are not experienced in First Aid.

What is the difference between Apply First Aid and Senior First Aid?

Previously, the Senior First Aid course was approved by SafeWork NSW for delivery. Now, first aid approval is only issued to Registered Training Organisations (RTO) by each state’s registering body. The most current version of the course is titled Provide First Aid HLTAID003.

What if I do not have access to a computer?
