Student Support and Wellbeing
At TCP Training we value and support our students. We want all of our students to have a safe and enjoyable experience with TCP Training.
Training Support
At TCP Training, we want to support you as best we can. In order for us to do this most efficiently, we ask that you let us know of any areas in your learning, where you may require some extra support. We will endeavour to assist students in that area but please note that we are limited to what the 'training package' requirements state.
There are certain accomadations that we can offer from the below list depending on the course you wish to complete. Please complete the below form informing us of any requested accomdations so we can communicate it to our trainers and confirm suitability.
If you require support that is not listed, please complete the form and select other and TCP Training will make a decision based on the Training Package requirements, the course and any other regulator requirements.
- Support person
- Yes, student/participant can attends the course with a support person, we just ask you let us know beforehand so we can accomdate. Please note that TCP Training does not supply the support person.
- Different Coloured Paper
- Yes, we can print a speific assessment of different coloured paper with enough notice. We have most basic colours available at Officeworks.
- Scribe or Oral Assessment
- Some courses may be suitable for the use of a scribe or technology assistance but not all. For example the White Card course requires the student to have the written skills to complete a basic form. Since this is a requirement of the training package, we have to oblige with this.
- Interpreter/translator
- Some courses may be suitable for the use of a interpreter or translator. This is heavily dependent on the state regulator, for example in any course under Liquor and Gaming NSW's authority the use of any type of interpreter is not allowed.

- Larger Font
- Most courses allow us to print assessments with larger fonts. Some assessments are mandated and we would have to ask the state regulator if they can make a larger font assessment which may or may not be possible.
- CPR completed off the floor due to mobility issues
- No, unfortunately the trainer must sight students performing CPR for at least 2 minutes on the adult resus manikin placed on the floor.
