Just booked into your course and feeling a little underprepared? Don't worry! We're here to help. Here's what to bring to ensure a smooth enrolment and an enjoyable day with the TCP Training team.
1. Arriving on time
For our face-to-face courses, we must comply with strict attendance and commencement requirements set by governing bodies. To help ensure a smooth start, we encourage all students to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Before attending, we recommend planning your journey in advance, including checking available parking options or the nearest public transport services. You can find details for all training locations on our Locations page.
2. Valid Identification
All students must bring valid identification on their first day of training. Depending on your course requirements, additional identification may be needed. For example, White Card courses require 100 points of identification.
Acceptable forms of ID may include:
TCP Training staff will advise you if specific identification documents are required for your course. Bringing the correct ID helps us verify your enrolment and meet compliance requirements.
3. Lunch, Snacks & Refreshments
Training days are designed to be engaging, interactive, and enjoyable, but they can also be information-rich and require sustained focus. We recommend bringing lunch, snacks, and refreshments to keep you energised throughout the day.
Depending on the venue, there may be cafes and food outlets nearby, but bringing your own food and drinks can help ensure you're comfortable for the duration of the course.
4. Pen and Paper OR Device such as a Laptop
TCP Training provides pens and paper at our venues; however, you're welcome to bring your own note-taking materials if preferred. Depending on your course, you may also need to bring a laptop and charger to complete digital assessments or online learning activities.
5. Yourself!
Last but certainly not least, bring yourself!
The most important thing you can bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Every TCP Training course is designed to help you build practical skills, grow your confidence, and work towards your goals.
Arriving ready to participate and engage will help you get the most out of your training experience.
Conclusion
By bringing the correct identification, any required learning materials, and a positive attitude, you'll be well prepared for a successful training experience with TCP Training. We look forward to welcoming you and supporting you every step of your learning journey.
